Why is your lithium fire extinguisher so expensive?
Because we use a unique extinguishing agent called AVD which has been specifically developed to tackle the unique risks of Lithium-ion battery fires. The AVD lithium battery fire protection agent is a unique product that provides a solution to an otherwise unsolved problem. AVD’s exceptional performance includes the following:

  • AVD extinguishes the fire and cools the battery cells.
  • AVD’s non-flammable properties reduce thermal propagation between the battery cells
  • AVD creates a heat-resistant oxygen barrier to prevent reignition
  • AVD can be applied as a fire break to prevent the propagation of fire
  • AVD is PFAS free and has passed the 35kV dielectric test in EN3
